Free pilot · 10 seats · One semester

Ten seats. The whole course.
Nothing to sign.

Principal Ready is strategy-first TExES 268 prep, and we are opening a small number of free pilot cohorts to Texas districts, universities, EPPs and principal pipeline programs this semester.

  • Ten access codes for your aspiring and assistant principals
  • The complete course for a full semester, not a trial tier
  • A partner portal so you can see how the cohort is doing
  • No cost, no card, no contract, no purchase order

Takes about a minute. We reply within two business days.

A candidate's readiness dashboard in Principal Ready, showing a readiness score, growth since the diagnostic, and a score for each of the six TExES 268 domains.
What your candidates see every time they log in

What a pilot partner gets

The real thing, for a real cohort.

10

Access codes

Ten codes to hand out however you like: one cohort, a few campuses, or your toughest retakers first.

All

Of the course

Not a sample and not a trial tier. All six domains, every lesson, every question bank, the written case studies and the full-length mock.

1

Full semester

Long enough for a cohort to actually finish, which is the only way the feedback is worth anything to either of us.

The trade

Here is exactly what this costs you, and what we want back.

What it costs you

All of it. There is no second page.

  • No costNo card, no invoice, no purchase order, no quote to route through procurement.
  • Nothing to signNo contract and no MOU for the pilot itself. You are not buying anything later either.
  • Nothing to cancelThere is no subscription underneath this. Access ends on its own at the end of the semester.
  • No sales pressure on your peoplePilot candidates are on their own mail track. They get study reminders, never a pitch.

What we ask for

Not money. Evidence.

  • Let your candidates use itA pilot where nobody logs in teaches us nothing. We would rather you take five seats you will use than ten you will not.
  • One conversation at the endAbout twenty minutes. What worked, what annoyed them, what you would need before you would pay for it.
  • Permission to ask about outcomesIf your candidates are willing to tell us how they did, that is the number we actually want. Entirely their call.

A few minutes inside

Judge it before you hand it to anyone.

Start with the two-minute walkthrough. Below it are three clips straight out of the course, and the middle one is a complete lesson rather than a highlight reel, because the only fair way to judge teaching is to watch all of it.

Start here

The whole journey, in two minutes.

The diagnostic, lessons across all six domains with Christie Ray, the Drill Room, the quizzes, the full-length mock, the AI Test Coach, and the readiness dashboard. This is what one of your candidates works through from the day their code arrives.

What this course actually is
Dr. A · 1 min 56 sec

The opening lesson. Why this is a strategy course for the 268 rather than another pile of content your candidates have already read.

A real Domain II lesson, in full
Christie Ray · 8 min 40 sec

Not a trailer. One complete lesson from Leading Learning, the domain worth 42% of the exam, taught the way it plays out in an actual building.

The AI Test Coach, explained
Dr. A · 2 min 21 sec

Every candidate gets Dr. A as a coach on the 268 blueprint, drilling them at ten at night when there is no one else to ask.

Why it is worth a semester of your attention

Built for the exam your people are failing.

Strategy first, not a content dump

Your candidates have read the standards. What they are missing is how to read a 268 item, rule out the choices written to look right, and manage five hours of clock. That is what this teaches.

Taught by a Principal of the Year

Christie Ray, a Principal of the Year and a former district leadership-development leader, teaches every domain the way it actually lands on a campus.

An AI Test Coach on the blueprint

Dr. A is built into the course, trained on the 268 framework and its six domains, available at any hour. Included on every pilot seat at no cost.

Shaped like the real exam

Clustered items with a shared case and data table, four written case studies, and a five-hour full-length mock with no question navigator, because the real 268 does not let you skip around.

You can see the cohort

A partner portal showing each candidate by name with their progress, their readiness, and the score their Road to 240 is currently projecting against the 240 passing standard. You know who is on track and who needs a conversation. Your candidates are told you can see it.

Every question is original

Written for this course against the published framework. Never a copy of a Pearson or TEA sample item.

Who it is for

If you develop campus leaders, this is for the people counting on you.

  • School districts building an aspiring and assistant principal pipeline
  • Universities and EPPs preparing candidates for principal certification
  • Regional service centers supporting leadership cohorts across member districts
  • Principal pipeline and leadership-development programs of any size

2

We reply

Within two business days, usually with a question or two about your cohort.

Ten access codes plus a partner page your people enroll through.

4

Diagnostic, lessons, question banks, the written case studies, the full mock.

5

We compare notes

One conversation at the end of the semester. Then you decide what, if anything, happens next.

Who your candidates learn from

Two people in their corner.

Christie has sat in the chair these questions describe.

A Principal of the Year and a former district Leadership Training and Development Senior Manager. She delivers the content review lessons across all six domains and coaches candidates the way she coached leaders on her own campuses, so they walk out ready to pass the exam and better at the job it certifies them for.

Dr. A got obsessed with one question: why do good people keep failing these exams?

He built a prior platform from nothing and helped more than 70,000 educators pass their certification exams. He holds a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, taught for a decade and was a professor of education for another. He builds the strategy, the question banks, and the AI Test Coach that drills your candidates at any hour.

Before you ask

The questions a careful person asks.

There is not one, and the honest reason is that this helps us more than it costs us. Principal Ready is new. We need real candidates working the real course so we can see where they get stuck, which questions are badly written, and whether the thing works. That evidence is worth more to us right now than ten seats of revenue. You get the course for nothing; we get to find out what is wrong with it.

No. There is no obligation at any point, and nothing renews on its own. If the pilot goes well we will ask what it would take to keep going, and you are free to say nothing would.

The full course. All six domains, 86 lesson videos, 681 original practice questions, the four written case studies, the full-length mock, and the AI Test Coach. The only limits are ten seats and the end of the semester.

You can. The partner portal shows each candidate by name with their progress and a readiness band. We tell every pilot candidate this when they enroll, because people should know their employer can see their study data before they start, not after.

Both exist in the product, and neither one is a promise we are making to your pilot. The course runs a Road to 240: as a candidate works, it projects where they are landing on the exam’s 100 to 300 scale against the 240 passing standard, and your partner portal shows that projection for each of your candidates. Treat it as a study instrument, not a forecast. It moves when they work and it is built from practice data, not from the real exam. Separately, paid enrollment carries a pass-or-money-back guarantee tied to finishing the course to a set standard. That one does not apply here for the simple reason that nobody paid, so there is nothing to refund. We are not going to tell you your people will pass.

Their account stays, and so does their score history. Course access is what ends. If they are partway through and you want a few more weeks, ask us and we will usually say yes.

The 268 is the Texas principal certification exam, so this pilot is built for Texas districts, universities and EPPs. If you prepare leaders for a different state exam, apply anyway and say which one. We are building the same thing for other exams and would rather hear from you early.
